END OF YEAR EXAMS (GRADE 4-7)
Parents are reminded that these exams contribute to the final promotion mark. Learners are advised to set up study timetables to allocate sufficient study time for each subject. Parents are encouraged to support learners in preparation for the exams. Please refer to the timetable below:
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The SGB would like to extend their gratitude to the parents that have attended the meeting last night. As per our meeting, as per resolution, the school fees will increase by R500, raising the school fees to R9000 for 2017. A comprehensive list of the resolutions will be available on the school website in due course.
EARLY RELEASE OF LEARNERS
Be informed that all learners will be released at 13H00 from Monday, 14 November 2016 to allow them more time to prepare for exams. Parents are urged to make transport arrangements to avoid after school incidents and allow sufficient time to prepare for the next day’s exam.
GRADE 1 PARENTS
Parents of the grade 1 learners are requested to collect the learners at 12h00 on Friday, 25 November 2016 due to the Orientation day that will be taking place for the 2017 grade 1 intake.

The grade 4-6 award ceremony will be on Thursday, 01 December 2016 at 08h30am and the grade 7 valediction will be held on Friday, 02 December 2016 at 08h30am. FOUNDATION PHASE COMMUNITY OUTREACH
As part of our community outreach programme this year, the Foundation Phase department has chosen to support some of the animal shelters in and around the Midrand area. As the festive season is approaching, these shelters become inundated with abandoned animals. We appeal to the generosity that our parents have shown in the past, to please support us in assisting these organizations. We are requesting that learners in grade one, two and three, as well as LSEN class, to kindly donate either an item of non-perishable cat or dog food. Donations will be accepted between now and 30 November 2016.
Learners will be required to bring their textbooks to school for retrieval on the day that subject is being written. Parents are urged to pay for the lost textbooks before the end of the term.
All parents are requested to ensure that their school fees account is up to date. School fees can be paid at the school’s finance office in cash, debit or credit card or by direct deposit into the school’s bank account.
