INTER-HOUSE ATHLETICS COMPETITION

We wish to congratulate all the learners who were selected to participate in the Inter-School Athletics Competition. We encourage the parents of these learners to support their children in preparing for the Inter Schools competition to be held later this month.

 

PARENT’S EVENING FEEDBACK

A sincere sense of gratitude is directed to all the parents who attended the parent’s evening held on the 25 January 2018. All the parents who could not make it to the meeting are requested to arrange to meet their children’s class teachers by making an appointment through the learners’ diary, as the setting of targets for each learner is critical for our planning and evaluation of our work and the parent’s support is critical in this regard.

 

EXEMPTION FORMS

Parents who wish to apply for school fees exemption are advised to collect application forms from the credit control office, complete and return to school. The application period will close on Wednesday, 28 February 2018. Kindly note that no applications will be accepted after the closing date.

Please note that Grade 1 learners are released at 13:00 daily. All the parents and learners are reminded that punctuality is a must and non-negotiable, and we expect maximal cooperation in this regard.

 

ANNUAL PHOTOSHOOT DAY

We will host our Annual Photo shoot day on Monday, 05 February 2018. Learners should be neatly attired in the correct school uniform. Photograph package details will soon follow.

 

COMPULSORY SCHOOL DIARY

There are learners who still do not have the compulsory school diary. All parents are reminded that all learners should have the compulsory school diary. The school diary is available at the finance office for R50.

 

CORRECTION: UNIFORM SHOP OPERATING HOURS

Please note that the uniform shop will be open from 7:30 to 10:15, Monday to Friday.

 

DROP OFF ZONE

We urge parents to use the designated parking bays outside the school in the mornings and afternoons. Kindly refrain from using the educator’s car park entrance as this is dangerous for learners.

 

APPOINTMENTS

Parents are not to meet with teachers during contact time, nor move directly to the class before reporting to reception first. Parents are advised to make appointments before/after school for meeting with educators. No parent will be seen without an appointment.

 

OVERDUE: COVERING OF SCHOOL BOOKS

All parents are urged to cover all exercise books with the relevant subject cover as well as plastic. Books are being damaged.

 

SUBMISSION OF OUTSTANDING STATIONERY

Parents and learners are reminded to submit all outstanding stationery to the class teacher no later than the extended date, 02 February 2018. Kindly adhere to this cut-off date.

 

LOCKERS

Learners who still require a locker can make a payment of R50 to their class educator. Parents are requested to purchase a padlock with two keys. One key will be submitted to the class teacher.

 

SCHOOL FEES

All parents are requested to ensure that their school fees account is up to date. School fees can be paid at the school’s finance office using debit or credit card or by direct deposit into the school’s bank account. No cash will be accepted. Use the correct references when making deposits.
