MPS SCHOOL CONCERT & TALENT SHOW FEEDBACK

On behalf of the leadership of Midrand Primary school, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to all our learners and parents as well as educators for ensuring that this event was successful. The event was one that will be remembered. Well done to all the stars of Midrand Primary. We are really proud of all our learners who displayed brilliant performances! All our educators are to be applauded for their commitment in ensuring that learners were well prepared. We would also like to thank the members of the SGB for their support.

 

CLOSURE OF SCHOOL FOR PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

School will be closed from Friday, 27 April 2018 and will resume on Wednesday, 02 May 2018 as we celebrate both Freedom Day and Worker’s day. Therefore, school will also be closed on Monday, 30 April 2018. We wish all staff, learners and parents a restful long weekend as we commemorate these public holidays.

 

ADMISSION PERIOD 2019

The admission period for new leaners for grade 1-7 has commenced on 16 April 2018 and will close on Monday 28 May 2018.

 

RE-REGISTRATION OF CURRENT LEARNERS

All the current learners who will be studying at Midrand Primary School in 2019 are expected to re-register from 16 April 2018 by filling in the re-registration form, which was issued to learners. Forms must be signed and returned to school before 26/04/2018.

 

FANTASIA

Exciting times are ahead! The school will host the annual Fantasia event on 25 May 2018 at a cost of R60 per learner. Lessons will take place in the morning. The fun activities will commence at 11:00 and end at 14:00. There will be food, cool drinks, sweets and tons of entertainment for everyone.

 

RECYCLING CAMPAIGN – LET’S KEEP OUR SCHOOL CLEAN

We are excited to introduce once again our Recycling Campaign. We request that all parents send in recyclable materials like paper and cardboard boxes to school. We will collect these materials every Tuesday. The purpose of this campaign is to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and to instill these values in our learners. We aim emphasize the importance of taking care of the environment. This campaign will continue until the end of September. We thank our parents and community in advance for their support.

 

ENGLISH AND MATHEMATICS RE-TEACHING FOR GRADE 7 LEARNERS

Kindly note that English re-teaching will take place on Thursday from 13:30-14:30 and Mathematics re-teaching will take place every Wednesday from 13:30-14:30. Parents who are affected are advised to make the necessary transport arrangements for their children.

 

WINTER SPORTS

There will be two codes of sport running this term. Namely, soccer and netball. Learners participating received the information. Parents affected are advised to make the necessary transport arrangements. Chess will also commence this term.

 

SCHOOL FEES

All parents are urged to ensure that their school fees account is up to date. School fees can be paid at the school’s finance office using debit or credit card or by direct deposit into the school’s bank account. No cash will be accepted. Use the correct references when making deposits.
