PREFECT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT CAMP FEEDBACK
The Prefects of Midrand Primary school embarked on a leadership development camp to Camp Discovery on Wednesday, 20 February 2019 and will return on 22 February 2019 at approximately 14:00. The Prefects will be equipped with the necessary leadership skills in order to carry out their important tasks effectively at school in a fun, nature-filled and adventurous environment. We take this opportunity to thank our prefects, parents, educators and co-ordinators for their support and continued dedication.
LEARNER DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP FEEDBACK: SANCA
On Tuesday, 19 February 2019 our school hosted three representatives from SANCA who addressed our Grade 4-7 learners on the adverse effects on substance abuse. Their presentation was quite enlightening and learners had an opportunity to engage with the representatives in unpacking the dangers as well as the consequences of substance abuse. Parents are advised to engage in conversations with their children at home about the dangers of substance abuse in order to reinforce what learners have been taught at this workshop. We thank the representatives from SANCA for their informative presentation.
