We would like to welcome our learners, staff and parents to the third Term of 2019. We hope that you have had a great holiday. Teaching and learning is well underway. Learners are instructed to be on their best behaviour, focus on their studies and follow their Assessment Plans. All the best to our learners!


Parents are requested to attend Parents’ Evening later today, 11 July 2019 from 16:00-18:00. Note that it is compulsory for both or at least one parent/guardian to attend this meeting. Your child/wards academic progress will be discussed. Parents will also set academic targets for Term 3. We expect maximum cooperation in this regard as imperative remediation strategies will be discussed. We thank our parents for their cooperation.


The GDE has amended the Admissions Policy of public schools in Gauteng. All parents are invited to attend an important Parents’ Meeting in the School Hall on 01 August 2019 at 18:00. An informative letter regarding this meeting will be sent with learners soon. Parents will receive an SMS from school with a link to follow in order to view the draft of the amended Admissions Policy or alternatively parents can visit the school website. Inputs can be submitted to by 25/07/2019. We implore all parents to attend this meeting as pivotal information will be discussed.


Kindly take note of the following information pertaining to overnight Camps. We advise parents to adhere to the stipulated due dates for payments to avoid disappointment. Note that Camp dates are close so payments must be made as early as possible. NO LATE PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

All learners and staff members will get together to clean up the school on Friday, 19 July 2019 in commemoration of Mandela Day. Learners are encouraged to bring buckets, plastic containers, rubber gloves and rag cloths. Learners are required to bring their books for the first five periods of the day. All learners are advised to wear old clothes suitable for cleaning and working. Class teachers will facilitate and record what learners volunteer to bring along for the campaign. Together, let’s get our school clean!


Parents are instructed to ensure that their children are attired in the appropriate winter school uniform. No exceptions will be made in this regard. Note that it is compulsory for learners to wear their white school shirt with a tie on assembly days. Kindly refer to the school code of conduct in the learner’s school diary for the seasonal school uniform. We thank our parents/guardians for their cooperation in this regard.


All parents are requested to ensure that their school fees account is up to date. School fees can be paid at the school’s finance office using debit or credit card or by direct deposit into the school’s bank account. No cash will be accepted. Please use the correct references when making deposits.
