WELCOME TO TERM 4!

We would like to warmly welcome all our learners, parents and staff to the fourth and final term of the 2019 academic year. We trust that you have had a splendid holiday and we implore all our learners, parents and educators to continue to work hard as we are close to the finish line. Kindly note that this is an extremely short term. We expect our learners and parents to strictly adhere to the Assessment Plan that will be handed out. We wish our learners and staff all the best for the final term. Remember, only your best will do!

TERM 4 PARENTS’ EVENING REMINDER

We extend an invitation to all our parents to attend our final Parents’ Evening for 2019 this evening, 03 October 2019 from 16:00-19:00. Note that it is compulsory for both or at least one parent/guardian to attend this meeting. Your child/wards academic progress will be discussed. Parents will also set academic targets for Term 4. We expect maximum cooperation in this regard as imperative remediation strategies will be discussed. We thank our parents for their co-operation.

REMINDER: FOUNDATION PHASE SHOW

On the 7th of November 2019 at 8:30, On Cue Theatre will be hosting a show called “Treasure Island” in our school hall. The show promises to be quite educational and enriching. The cost is R30pp which is payable by the 7th of November 2019 at 8am. Completed reply slips must be sent to the class teacher with the money.

WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY 2019

On Saturday, 05 October 2019, the world will commemorate World Teachers’ Day. We thank our star teachers for the exceptional work that they do every day. Teachers are the backbone of society and often go the extra mile to ensure that all children receive quality education. We encourage our learners and parents to show their appreciation of our teachers for World Teachers’ Day. To our amazing teaching staff, we wish you a happy Teachers’ Day and we hope that you are all aware of how invaluable you are.

USE OF THE CORRECT SUMMER UNIFORM

Parents are instructed to ensure that learners come to school attired in the correct Summer school uniform. Please consult the school diary for the correct Summer uniform. We appreciate your co-operation in this regard.

SCHOOL FEES

All parents are requested to ensure that their school fees account is up to date. School fees can be paid at the school’s finance office using debit or credit card or by direct deposit into the school’s bank account. No cash will be accepted. Please use the correct references when making deposits.
