PARENT ORIENTATION PACKS & THE ALTERNATION TIMETABLE APPROACH
Parents who did not collect Orientation packs on Monday and Tuesday should do so tomorrow, 03 July 2020 between 8:00-10:00 at the school gate. Learners who come to school on the incorrect day next week will be turned away. To avoid this, parents should collect these important orientation packs. In order to adhere to the rules of social distancing, all our classes will be divided into two. Each class will only have 20 learners. The first 20 learners from each class list will be a part of the A class. The second 20 learners from the class list will be a part of the B class. Learners will not be attending school on a daily basis. A timetable is included in the Orientation pack indicating the days that learners in Group A and B should come to school.
LEARNERS WHO ARE UNWELL SHOULD STAY AT HOME
IMPORTANT: Parents must continuously monitor their children. If learners display any flu-like symptoms or are unwell, they are not allowed to come to school. Learners are only allowed to return to school once they have received medical treatment and have fully recovered. Parents are instructed to ask learners the following questions at home and if the answer is yes to any one of these questions, the learner should stay at home.
Do you have a high temperature? (Feel the forehead and lower neck with back of your palm)
Do you have a cough or a headache?
Do you have a sore throat?
Do you have difficulty breathing (shortness of breath)?
Do you feel weak and tired today?
