PHASED IN RETURN OF GRADES & REMINDERS
Learners in the Foundation Phase (Grades 1-3 & LSEN) are instructed to use the top gate on Poplar Street in the morning as well as after school. Learners in the InterSen Phase (Grades 4-7) will use the bottom gate on Poplar Street to enter and exit after school. Learners must be fetched immediately after school. Parents are reminded to read the MPS Covid-19 Protocols from the orientation packs to their children and ensure that learners are familiar with all their expectations. The Tuck shop will remain closed, so parents must send a healthy packed lunch from home as well as a water bottle. No parents or visitors are allowed at school. Parents who wish to purchase uniforms can contact Letwin (firstname.lastname@example.org) who will able to assist. We emphasize, learners who are sick should remain at home until they have fully recovered. Class teachers must be made aware of learners who are sick. Learners in different grades will return to school on the following dates:

APPLICATIONS FOR LEARNERS WITH COMORBIDITIES (CHRONIC ILLNESS)
Parents of learners in Grades 1-3 & LSEN as well as Grades 4 & 6 can collect an application form from school to apply for home learning. The due date for the submission of forms for these grades is the 28th of August 2020. Parents of learners in Grade 5 are required to submit their applications by the 4th of September 2020. No forms will be accepted after the due dates.
REMINDER: ALTERNATION TIMETABLE
Learners in Group B will report to school on Monday, 24 August 2020. Learners in Group A will report to school on Tuesday, 25 August 2020. Thereafter, learners in those groups will come to school on alternating days. Parents are reminded to check the orientation packs received for the group their child belongs to. Learners who attend school on the incorrect day will be turned away.

SOUTH AFRICAN MATHEMATICS CHALLENGE COMPETITION (AMESA)
The first round results of the South African Mathematics Challenge Competition have been released. Two learners qualified for the final round of the challenge. The final round will take place on the 10th of September 2020. The two learners who qualified for the final round of the competition are Ataene Muedi in Grade 6 and Reatlegile Mphake in Grade 7. We are truly proud of these learners who continue to make shine. We congratulate our exceptional Mathematicians and we wish them all the best in their upcoming finals!
EXTENSION OF DUE DATE FOR THE PURCHASE OF SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS
School memories are to be treasured for an entire lifetime! The extended due date for the payment of school photographs is the 4th of September 2020. Payments can be made to class teachers by sending the envelope (with cash) or proof of payment (if an EFT was done). We thank our parents for their co-operation in this regard.
All parents are requested to ensure that their school fees account is up to date. School fees can be paid at the school’s finance office using debit or credit card or by direct deposit into the school’s bank account. No cash will be accepted.
