  1. ASSESSMENT PLAN FOR TERM 2

Learners in Group A received the assessment plan for Term 2 on 12 May 2021. Learners in Group B will receive the assessment plan today, 13 May 2021. Due to the alternation timetable and time constraints, learners are expected to complete all their class activities and remote learning activities on time, take down corrections in class and revise daily in order to achieve excellent results this term. Parents are advised to note all due dates for assessment tasks and ensure that learners are prepared in advance in order to submit assessments on time. With hard work, focus and dedication results can be improved from Term 1. All the best for Term 2!

 

  1. SECURITY ALERT: INCIDENTS OF REMOTE-JAMMING

Parents and transport operators are advised to ensure that their vehicles are locked thoroughly when dropping off or fetching learners every day. There has been two incidents of remote-jamming reported. Please be vigilant.

 

  1. REMINDER: FANTASIA

The school will host the annual Fantasia event tomorrow, the 14th of May 2021 AND next week, on the 21st of May 2021 (to accommodate learners in Group A and B separately) at a cost of R60 per learner. Lessons will take place in the morning. The fun activities will commence at 10h30 and end at 14h00. There will be food, cool drinks and sweets for sale (bring pocket money) as well as tons of entertainment for everyone. THERE WILL BE NO WATER-RELATED ACTIVITIES. All Covid-19 protocols will be strictly monitored and observed.

 

  1. WINTER SCHOOL UNIFORM

Parents are advised to ensure that their children are attired in the proper school uniform when they come to school. Kindly refer to the school diary. Colourful jackets, beanies, socks and tights will not be tolerated.

 

  1. LATE COMING

Parents must ensure that their children arrive at school on time.  Covid-19 screening starts at 7h00 am and gates close at approximately 7h45 am. NO LATE COMING WILL BE TOLERATED!

6.   SCHOOL FEES

All parents are urged to ensure that their school fees account is up to date. School fees can be paid at the school’s finance office using debit or credit card or by direct deposit into the school’s bank account. No cash will be accepted. Use the correct references when making deposits.
