Job Title: ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT /PRINCIPAL ‘S PERSONAL ASSISTANT

Department: ADMINISTRATION OFFICE

Nature of Employment: SGB TEMPORARY POST

Assumption of Duty: 01 September 2021 – 31 DECEMBER 2021

 

Job Description: Responsible for school reception, switchboard, Manage Principal ‘s diary, minutes writing, learner admissions, Maintaining office systems

Requirements:

  • Matric qualification
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Certificate /Diploma in Office Administration
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Filing
  • High Competence Computer Skills (excel, outlook, SASAMS added advantage.
  • Driver’s license
  • Strong communication, leadership, and administrative skills
  • Exposure in a school environment will be an added advantage.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Answering of telephone &taking down messages for all staff & queries from parents
  • Seeing to parents, learners, and staff
  • Manage School Admissions
  • Photocopying
  • Seeing to sick learners and phoning parents to fetch them
  • Manage class registers on a weekly basis and recording absenteeism of learners
  • Update class lists
  • Type and take minutes of meetings
  • Manage principal’s diary
  • Filing of documents
  • Control late coming registers for learners
  • Issue and file disciplinary hearing letters and minutes
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the principal
