Parents are requested to consult the school Code of Conduct which can be found in the learners’ compulsory school diary. Only maroon beanies are allowed. Learners must wear the correct school socks (navy with red stripes). Only female prefects may wear white socks. During Winter, girls are allowed to wear black tights (not blue). Learners must comply with the usage of the correct school uniform at all times. This is non-negotiable. We thank our learners and parents for their compliance.
2. SPORTING & CULTURAL ACTIVITIES TO RESUME
As per Gazette No. 44922 dated 1 August 2021, sporting and cultural activities will resume. No spectators are allowed at sports matches. Further information will be communicated once all the details have been finalized by our extra-mural coaches and teachers. Kindly note that all Covid-19 protocols will be observed at all times. We look forward to the commencement of the exciting extra-mural activities.
3. CORRECT USE OF THE PARKING BAYS
Parents and transport operators are instructed to park correctly in the parking bays available. Please note that parking along the edge of the street is dangerous and adds to peak traffic. We expect the co-operation of our parents and transport operators in this regard as we endeavour to ensure learner safety.
4. SAFETY ALERT: INCIDENTS OF REMOTE JAMMING
Parents and transport operators are advised to ensure that their vehicles are locked thoroughly when dropping off or fetching learners every day. There have been incidents of remote jamming reported. Please be vigilant. No valuables should be left in the car. Parents are advised to remain in their cars when learners are dropped off as there are security and staff members who monitor learners until they get to their respective classes.
5. COVID-19 SYMPTOM MONITORING AT HOME
Parents are requested to monitor their children’s health on a regular basis. Learners who display any Covid-19 related symptoms should not come to school until they have fully recovered. We expect maximum co-operation in this regard to ensure the safety of all learners and staff members.
- MONITORING OF LEARNERS’ BOOKS AND SCHOOL DIARY
We remind parents to check their child’s notebooks and their diary daily. The diary must be signed. The onus is on all our parents to ensure that communication from educators is acknowledged.
