  1. CONTROLLED TEST (EXAMINATION) PROGRAMME

Parents/guardians are informed that the Controlled Test programme (previously known as the Final Examinations) will commence on the 15th of November 2021 to the 1st of December 2021. Tests will cover content from Term 3 and 4. From the first day of the Controlled Tests, Grade 4-7 learners will begin alternating in Grades and NOT in Groups. Foundation Phase learners will continue to alternate in Groups (A and B). Grade 4 and Grade 6 learners will write their tests on the same day. Grade 5 and Grade 7 learners will write their tests on the same day. It is extremely imperative for parents to ensure that their children are effectively studying at home by assisting with revision as well as testing their knowledge. Learners’ books must be checked regularly to ensure that all activities and corrections are updated. Kindly take note of the sessions & timetable below:

  1. REMINDER: REVISED ROTATIONAL TIMETABLE – LEARNERS TO ATTEND ON THE CORRECT DAY

The 1st of November 2021 has been declared a public holiday. Due to this, learners have received an amended rotational timetable that must be followed accordingly.

 

  1. REMINDER: NOTICE OF THE 2021 AGM

Parents are reminded of the 2021 AGM that will take place next week, on the 4th of November 2021 at 17:30 for 18:00.

 

  1. REMINDER: FUND-RAISING: RAFFLE

A snack hamper was donated by Toyota Centurion for a school fund-raising initiative. Raffle tickets cost R10 each. Learners can purchase as many tickets as they like to stand a greater chance of winning the amazingly mouth-watering hamper. Tickets will be on sale until 12pm on the 5th of November 2021 and the draw of the winning ticket will be done on the on the 8th of November 2021.

 

  1. GYMNASTICS TRIALS

Learners are invited to attend gymnastics trials to join our Gymnastics Club. This trial is an excellent opportunity for your child to develop skills, improve stature, technique, strength, and flexibility knowledge in a challenging and enjoyable environment. Attire: Girls – shorts/tights and a t-shirt (hair must be away from the face and neat) / Boys – shorts and t-shirt. Place: school hall. Date: 09 and 10 November 2021. Time: 13:30 (Grade 1-3) 14:00 (Grade 4-7). Basic Expected Skills: Backward and forward roll, handstand, cartwheel and a flic-flac (voluntarily). Please note that attending trials DOES NOT guarantee the learner a place in the team as there is very limited space! Please revert to Mrs. Stokes-Thubakgale if there are queries. 7.   SCHOOL FEES

All parents are urged to ensure that their school fees account is up to date. School fees can be paid at the school’s finance office using debit or credit card or by direct deposit into the school’s bank account. No cash will be accepted. Use the correct references when making deposits.
