  1. CLOSURE OF SCHOOL FOR THE 2024 ACADEMIC YEAR

Please note that the academic year will conclude on the 11th of December 2024 for learners. Learner progress reports will ONLY be issued to the parents or legal guardians of learners from 07:30-09:30.

  1. RE-OPENING OF SCHOOL – THE 2025 ACADEMIC YEAR

School will re-open on the 15th of January 2024 for learners. Learners’ progress report envelopes will contain a slip indicating the name and classroom number of their new class teacher. The 2025 stationery list will also be inserted into the envelope. Parents are instructed to purchase learners’ stationery supplies early so that effective teaching and learning commences from the first day of school next year.

  1. OPERATING HOURS IN JANUARY 2025

Parents/guardians are hereby informed that the admin office, finance office, and uniform shop will be operational from the 10th – 11th of January 2025 from 08:00-13:00.

  1. FOUNDATION PHASE STATIONERY DROP OFF FOR 2025

Parents/guardians of all Foundation Phase (Grade 1 – 3) are requested to drop off their learner’s stationery packs at their register class on the 14th of January 2025 between 8:30 and 10:30am.  All stationery items must be clearly labelled with the learner’s name. 

 

  1. GRADE 1 LEARNER ENTRANCE IN 2025

Parents/guardians of learners in Foundation Phase in 2025 are hereby informed that it will be compulsory for them to make use of the Karee Street entrance/gate for drop off and collection of learners after school. Please note that this is non-negotiatble. The Poplar Street gate will no longer be in use in the mornings or afternoons.

  1. FOUNDATION PHASE PRIZEGIVING – 27 NOVEMBER 2024

Congratulations to our prospective awardees. Parents are hereby informed that awardees must be dressed in their proper, summer school uniform. Learners must NOT wear tracksuits, PE attire or civvies (if it is their birthday). Hairbands should be as per the correct school colours. Attendance at the prizegiving ceremony is by invitation only. ONLY TWO guests per awardee are allowed due to limited seating.

 

  1. GRADE 1 ORIENTATION DAY (2025)

ALL Grade 1 and 2 learners MUST be fetched at the KAREE STREET gate at 10h30 on the 27th of November 2024 as Grade 1 and 2 educators will be assisting with the 2025 Grade 1 orientation day. We thank you for your compliance.

 

  1. RE-OPENING OF THE SCHOOL TUCKSHOP

Parents, guardians and learners are hereby informed that the school tuckshop will be operational again from Monday, 25 November 2024.

 

  1. REMINDER: LEARNER DEPART TIMES

Kindly note that ALL learners must be fetched immediately at 13:00 until further notice.

  1. REMINDER: SCHOOL FEES RESOLUTION FOR 2025

Parents and guardians are hereby reminded that the school fees amount for the 2025 academic year will be R13500. Parents are advised to take advantage of the 10% discount if the school fees are settled in full by the 31st of March 2025.

  1. REMAINING FINAL EXAMINATION TIMETABLE

Kindly take note of the remaining final examination timetable below. The examination commenced on the 11th of November 2024 and will conclude on the 22nd of November 2024. Assessment in the Foundation Phase (Grades 1-3 & LSEN) is continuous, and learners must attend school daily.

 

  1. FINAL REMINDER: LTSM TEXTBOOK RETRIEVAL

Kindly take note that textbook retrieval will take place daily after each subject has been written. Parents/guardians are urged to make urgent payment of R250 per lost or damaged textbook. We advise parents/guardians to not wait until the end of the year to make these payments.

 

  1. RE-REGISTRATIONS FOR 2025

The closing date for re-registration was the 04th of October 2024 and the closing date for re-registration payments of R2000.00 will be on the 30th of November 2024. School fees need to be paid in full or the necessary payment arrangements must be made by the 30th of October 2024. Parents/guardians who are experiencing difficulties registering online are welcome to come to school for assistance. We thank our parents/guardians for their continued co-operation.

  1. SCHOOL FEES

All parents are requested to ensure that their school fees account is up to date. School fees can be paid at the school’s finance office using debit or credit card or by direct deposit into the school’s bank account. No cash will be accepted.
