1. CLOSURE OF SCHOOL FOR THE 2024 ACADEMIC YEAR

Please note that the academic year will conclude on the 11^th of December 2024 for learners. Learner progress reports will ONLY be issued to the parents or legal guardians of learners from 07:30-09:30.

2. RE-OPENING OF SCHOOL – THE 2025 ACADEMIC YEAR

School will re-open on the 15^th of January 2024 for learners. Learners’ progress report envelopes will contain a slip indicating the name and classroom number of their new class teacher. The 2025 stationery list will also be inserted into the envelope. Parents are instructed to purchase learners’ stationery supplies early so that effective teaching and learning commences from the first day of school next year.

3. OPERATING HOURS IN JANUARY 2025

Parents/guardians are hereby informed that the admin office, finance office, and uniform shop will be operational from the 10^th – 11^th of January 2025 from 08:00-13:00.

4. FOUNDATION PHASE STATIONERY DROP OFF FOR 2025

Parents/guardians of all Foundation Phase (Grade 1 – 3) are requested to drop off their learner’s stationery packs at their register class on the 14^th of January 2025 between 8:30 and 10:30am.  All stationery items must be clearly labelled with the learner’s name. 

5. GRADE 1 LEARNER ENTRANCE IN 2025

Parents/guardians of learners in Foundation Phase in 2025 are hereby informed that it will be compulsory for them to make use of the Karee Street entrance/gate for drop off and collection of learners after school. Please note that this is non-negotiable. The Poplar Street gate will no longer be in use in the mornings or afternoons.

6. LTSM: PAYMENTS FOR LOST/DAMAGED TEXTBOOKS (2025)

Parents/guardians are urged to make immediate payments for lost or damaged textbooks. The compulsory fee for lost or damaged textbooks is R250 each. Thank you for your compliance.

7. COMPULSORY MEETING FOR PARENTS OF LEARNERS IN GRADE 4 IN 2025

Parents/Guardians of learners who will be in Grade 4 in 2025 are warmly invited to attend a short compulsory induction meeting on Tuesday, the 14th of January 2025 at 12:30 in the school hall. This session will provide important information regarding the academic year, routines and expectations. Your presence will be highly appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you.

8. REMINDER: SCHOOL FEES RESOLUTION FOR 2025

Parents and guardians are hereby reminded that the school fees amount for the 2025 academic year will be R13500. Parents are advised to take advantage of the 10% discount if the school fees are settled in full by the 31^st of March 2025.

9. REMINDER: LEARNER DEPART TIMES

Kindly note that ALL learners must be fetched immediately at 13:00 until further notice.

10. RE-REGISTRATIONS FOR 2025

The closing date for re-registration was the 04^th of October 2024 and the closing date for re-registration payments of R2000.00 will be on the 30^th of November 2024. Parents/guardians who are experiencing difficulties registering online are welcome to come to school for assistance. We thank our parents/guardians for their continued co-operation.

11. SCHOOL FEES

All parents are requested to ensure that their school fees account is up to date. School fees can be paid at the school’s finance office using debit or credit card or by direct deposit into the school’s bank account. No cash will be accepted.
